Flexibility and strength, rapid processing and a Class A surface finish at a competitive cost make Telene® a superior choice for designers & engineers.

The flow characteristics adapt easily to everything from small components in a sub-assembly to large-scale body panels. If desired, Telene® can even be used to overmold inserts and other functions.

PDCPD has been used by most of Bus manufacturers in the world since 2000 (150 000 Parts in PDCPD) allowing design freedom, combining cost saving and very good performance. We gathered good track record on buses running under challenging conditions.

Support is provided by our global team with them support of the technical centers located in Japan and France.e. We routinely provide expert analysis and advice on everything from problem analysis to material and equipment selection to on-site operator training.

Applications

01

Front Fascia / Front Bumper

One of the benefits of PDCPD is its inherent radio transparency. This unique quality makes PDCPD radio transparent and allows for easy location of sensors beneath the Telene®-based part without any special design arrangements. This use of PDCPD is not limited to front facia/bumper applications. Other parts can be made in PDCPD such as A-pillars, light corners, wheel arches, air conditioning panels, and whole rear and front fascia.

Benefit of Telene® for this application:

  • Radio Transparency
  • High Impact Tolerance
  • Easy to repair
  • Weight savings up to 30%
  • Dimensional Stability
  • High Surface Quality (A Class)
  • Ability to accept complex ribbing
  • Vibration Resistance/Behavior
  • Heat, Climate Ageing Behavior

Wheel arches

One benefit of PDCPD is high-impact tolerance. High-impact tolerance increases the lifespan of wheel arches in harsh, gravel filled environments without compromising on the weight. The use of PDCPD is not limited to wheel arch applications. Other parts can be made in PDCPD such as A-pillars, light corners, air conditioning panels, and whole rear and front fascia.

Benefit of Telene® for this application:

  • Hight Impact Tolerance
  • Robust Finished Form
  • High Surface Quality (A Class)
  • Weight savings up to 30%
  • Capacity to Overmold Inserts
  • Vibration Resistance
  • Vibration, Heat, Climate Ageing Resistance

Rear Fascia / Rear Bumper

PDCPD high HDT withstands continuous exposure to 120°C with the standard grade 1650. This is crucial in the engine area where temperatures typically run high. This use of PDCPD is not limited to front facia/bumper applications. Other parts can be made in PDCPD such as A-pillars, light corners, wheel arches, air conditioning panels, and front fascia.

Benefit of Telene® for this application:

  • High HDT
  • Heat, Climate ageing behavior
  • Impact Resistance
  • High Surface Quality (A Class)
  • Weight savings up to 30%
  • Vibration Resistance
