Company History
The history of the Telene business has seen a number of ownership changes. In 1989 the business started as Telenor S.A. - a joint venture between Cray Valley and BFGoodrich. Cray Valley divested its interest, while BFGoodrich divested its Performance Materials division to Noveon. The Noveon business was then acquired by Lubrizol.
On February 2nd, 2006, Rimtec acquired the Telene business from Lubrizol. The acquisition of Telene was the direct result of the excellent working relationship built between Rimtec and the Telene team in the previous 4 years. Team members knew each other well and had successfully delivered on global projects.
Telene S.A.S. has a culture of customer centricity as is evidenced by the key developments and successes that have taken place through very close customer cooperation. A team where everyone is ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute. The Telene team works tirelessly on application and product development where delivering a competitive performance advantage to our customers is the number one goal.
